Course description
The swimmer is now confident in the water, as they have started their aquatic breathing journey they can now float in the water unaided. The swimmer will also begin to use their arms to move on their front and back. The swimmers water safety knowledge will increase on completion of this level.

Course Skills
- Push and glide on front for 5 meters (arms fully extended)
- Push and glide on back for 5 meters (correct arm position)
- Correct leg kick on front more than 5m without Aid
- Correct legs kick on back more than 5m without Aid
- Front crawl - leg & arm action up to 5m without Aid without Aid
- Back crawl - leg & arm action up to 5m
- Identify 5 hazards in the pool
- Perform Similtaneous arms and Legs on back for 8m with Aid
- Perform Similtaneous arms and Legs on Front for 8m with Aid
